Hello, my lovies, in the past month, I have finished few products, which I would like to share with you today. Would I repurchase any of those empties again and what’s my experience with the products – keep on reading to find out! 🙂 As usually all products will be linked below and their price will be named.

Starting off with the first product I recently finished is my beloved setting spray from Urban Decay. The All Nighter has been an essential part of my everyday makeup routine. As I have previously mentioned in another post, my days can be very long, therefore a good base is a must-have for me. I use the setting spray to fix my primer in place, as well as after setting the foundation with powder and after bronzer application. The setting spray promises up to 16 hours hold and I can only confirm this Urban Decay statement. Although this product is on the pricier side, I can’t stop repurchasing it. So far I haven’t found a cost-friendlier alternative, which provides the same results.

Let’s talk about something, of which I had high expectations

Unlike the Urban Decay setting spray, the second product will not end up in my shopping bag once again. I cannot say that I am disappointed in the item itself, I just haven’t noticed the effect, which it should have. This is a caffeine shampoo from Plantur 21. After giving a lot of chances to this product and carefully observing if my hair would grow faster, my decision was not to repurchase the shampoo and to continue searching for a good caffeine one, which stimulates the faster hair growth. It holds my hair clean for up to 48 hours, which is a satisfying result, but not enough so that I get it once again.

Yet another makeup favourite

One further item from my daily makeup routine is the Smashbox PhotoFinish PoreMinimizing Primer. I came to try this one out by receiving it as a tester of 7ml, which lasted me nearly two months long (!!). This primer will be definitely purchased and beloved, as it’s oil-free and perfectly suitable for combination to oily skin. After applying it to the face it doesn’t leave a sticky finish and blends in smoothly with my Estee Lauder Double Wear foundation.

Another item from my empties bin is the Batiste Dry Shampoo. One phial of this products last me always long, as I only tend to use it in very urgent situations. This dry shampoo is specifically created for dark blonde to light brown hair colours and doesn’t leave any white residue on the hair. On my next journey to DM, I will most definitely get this longtime favourite once again.

Lenght – on fleek, volume – not so much

One drugstore product, which will not land on my next shopping list, will be the Catrice Glam&Doll Mascara in waterproof. The mascara itself is very good, provides length in the lashes, but for me, some volume is also needed. Another negative point is the removal of the mascara – no matter with what I try to take it off at the end of the day, I can’t seem to remove it completely from my lashes.

Skincare comes first, makeup second

As part of my skincare routine, I use the La Roche Posay Toleriane Fluide Emulsion and I am in love with it. I like the packaging of the product, as well as the lightweight, but still hydrating formula, which gets absorbed into the skin very fast and doesn’t leave a heavy feeling after the application. Additionally, the fluid is mattifying, paraben-free and oil-free, which makes it suitable for combination, oily and sensitive skin types. The product can be bought in nearly every pharmacy in Germany and it is budget-friendly. For about 13 euros, you get a phial of 40 ml, which lasted me nearly 3 months with daily application in the mornings and evenings.

Daily life saviour

Deodorant is one of those items, which simply everyone uses. After trying so many different formulas and types of deos, I guess my search is over. For many months I have been using the Garnier Mineral Protection 48h roll on deo. If the product holds 48 hours, I cannot give a confirmation, but it for sure it holds throughout the day (18+ hours). One of the many positives is that it doesn’t leave a white residue on clothes. The formation of yellow stains on white t-shirts or blouses is lowered. This product has been already repurchased and in use.

Dark circles – this concealer can help

Last product, which is nearly finished is the Maybelline  Instant Anti-Age concealer. Maybelline is yet another drugstore brand, and this product has been in my daily beauty routine for over a year now. The product has 6 shades (at least in Germany) and most suitable for my skin tone is the colour 01. I like the packaging, mostly the applicator. A bit of the concealer goes a long way. It covers my dark circles and doesn’t crease throughout the day, of course after being set with powder. This item will definitely land in my shopping bag once again.
